Magret Wanjiku

Wanjiku is a third born in a family of four children. Her dad burns and sells charcoal while her mum picks tea   for pay back in their village in Murang’a. Prior to Ahava’s interventions, Wanjiku had an admission to a day school and was picking tea and working in people’s shambas to raise her school fees as the parents used the little money they got on food and her other sibling in school. Ahava took her up in 2019 and enrolled her at Gikundu Girls

boarding school to enable her to concentrate and give more time to her studies. She is currently a candidate scheduled to sit her Form Four national examinations in 2022.

 

Her annual school fees is approximately Kshs.40,000.
