Ahava Compassion Foundation is a Kenyan Christian Organization on a Mission to spread the love of Jesus Christ by reaching out and supporting needy children and young people in Kenya through education support and mentor- ship.
Ahava was established in 2012 when its two co-founders, resolved to act on convictions they had shared over a period regarding the need to give back to society, particularly children needing education support. The first beneficiary was taken on board in 2012 and Ahava formalized into a trust in May 2014. Since then, Ahava has attracted like-minded individuals (Partners and Friends ) who have collectively supported twenty beneficiaries through sec- ondary school education with most of them transitioning to universities and other tertiary institutions.
Our Vision is to see a society where all people live empowered lives, fulfilling God’s Purpose. The organization draws its name from the Hebrew word (Ahava) that connotes ‘loving’ and ‘giving’.
Our philosophy, therefore, is ex- pressing love by giving and is grounded in John 3:16 where God Loved the world and Gave His only son.
