A Program Manager (currently on a part-time - voluntary basis) coordinates operations at Ahava Compassion Foundation and ensures the organization is running effectively in liaison with the Unit Leaders and Ahava’s
Treasurer under the strategic leadership of the Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson of the Foundation.
An Alumni platform is being nurtured as more beneficiaries transition from secondary school and choose to engage in the Ahava family. Ahava’s organizational budget is financed by individuals who sign up as Ahava partners or Friends of Ahava. Ahava partners contribute financially (or in-kind) and are directly involved in the mentorship of specific beneficiaries allocated to them annually or within an agreed timeframe. Friends of Ahava choose to contribute finances (or in-kind) annually or within an agreed timeframe but are not engaged in the mentorship processes of any of the beneficiaries.
Periodic updates, unit reports, and financial reports are presented in partner forums and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for transparency and accountability. Plans and budgets are processed through similar mechanisms. Ahava will be commissioning its first Financial Audit for the FY 2021, a practice that will be institutionalized and conducted annually moving forward
